All students participated in this great fundraising event today. Lots of fun and enjoyment was had. 

The Senior Room worked on building teamwork skills when creating and painting  their Halloween Scenes. Fabulous masterpieces were created. Well done all. 

We are all looking forward to Halloween. Each classroom has focused on this topic for the last two weeks. Children will dress up tomorrow and take part in “Trick or Treat for Temple Street”.

Pupils from 3rd-6th class have been busy training for the Cross Country Team Running which will take place on Wednesday 4th October in Kiltoom. Wishing all the teams the best of luck.

We are looking forward to welcoming the Liam McCarthy Cup to our school today. The children are very excited and get the opportunity to wear their club or county jersey.

What an amazing bunch of easter bonnets. Such a talented group of children in Newtown NS. There were four overall winners in each category and every entrant received a treat.

Wishing all the grandparents a very special Happy Grandparents’ Day 2016. We had a prayer service with all the pupils. We shared poems, stories and pictures for our grandparents. We are truly thankful for all they do for us.
